Pignan comes from a neighboring parcel to Rayas, on sandy soils, and shares its unique style: finesse, transparency, and depth. 100% Grenache, vinified without artifice. Confidential production and highly sought-after. The 2012 vintage, fresh and balanced, produced an elegant and digestible wine. Nose of wild strawberry, cherry, raspberry, faded rose, garrigue, soft spices, and hints of undergrowth. Silky and airy mouthfeel, very fine tannins, beautiful freshness, long and floral finish. Provenance: acquired from a cellar purchase in 2020, kept since in an underground cellar at 15°C.
