Seller description
About the vintage The grapes used to make this parcel selection come from the Méal hillside. It is a soil of very old fluvio-glacial alluvium, with many pebbles storing the heat of the day. It is the marsanne that is used to produce this hermitage, whose yields are limited in order to guarantee its quality. Whole grapes are pressed in the cellar, and the vinification is carried out for one half in new half-muids, and for the other in tanks. The aging lasts 10 to 12 months, and will be littered with regular tastings as well as several sticks to put the lees back in suspension. On the nose, it is the aromas of white fruits, honey and fine spices that predominate. In the mouth, the wine is balanced and fruity, and the woody is pleasantly discreet. It also reveals brioche notes before offering a beautiful length. An exceptional wine.
