Vega Sicilia – Único – Ribera del Duero – 2008 – Magnum (1.5L) The most mythical wine of Spain. Blend dominated by Tempranillo (Tinto Fino), complemented with Cabernet Sauvignon, aged for a decade between barrels and bottle before leaving the estate. The 2008 vintage, a cool year in Ribera del Duero, produced an elegant and precise Único, crafted for very long aging. Nose of black fruits, cherry, cedar, tobacco, leather, and soft spices. Dense and velvety mouthfeel, fine tannins, great freshness, very long finish. The magnum format ensures a slower and more harmonious evolution. Provenance: Purchased from a restaurant and have had it for 8 years, kept in a cellar at 15°C. It hasn’t been moved.
