Domaine Peyre Rose – Belle Léone – Languedoc – 2012 Cult domain of Languedoc, created by Marlène Soria in the garrigue of Saint-Pargoire. Belle Léone is her Mourvèdre-dominant blend, completed with Syrah, aged very long at the estate before release. Confidential production, highly sought-after. Nose of ripe black fruits, black olive, garrigue, leather, spices, and smoky notes. Dense and deep mouthfeel, velvety tannins, good freshness, long and wild finish. Provenance: from a cellar purchase in 2020, kept since in an underground cellar at 15 °C. To drink now until 2035. Decant 1 hour, serve at 16-17 °C.
