Seller description

Pierre Girardin – Montrachet Grand Cru – 2022 – Magnum (150 cl) Rising star of Meursault, the domaine founded in 2017 by Pierre Girardin, quickly became one of the most sought-after names in Côte-de-Beaune for the precision and purity of its whites. Montrachet is the world’s most illustrious white Grand Cru, straddling Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet. 100 % Chardonnay. The 2022 vintage, a sunny and generous year, produced ripe and vibrant wines, balanced by a refreshing crispness. Nose of ripe citrus, white peach, white flowers, toasted almond, fresh butter, and flinty notes. Ample and powerful on the palate, with great mineral tension, an endless and salty finish. The magnum format ensures a slower and more harmonious evolution, ideal for a wine of this aging potential. Provenance: acquired from a cellar purchase in 2023, kept since in an underground cellar at 15 °C.
