Domaine de la Vougeraie – Vougeot 1er Cru « Le Clos Blanc de Vougeot » Monopole – 2014 Rare white wine from the Côte de Nuits, planted by the monks of Cîteaux in the 12th century and today a monopole of the domaine. Predominantly Chardonnay, grown biodynamically. 2014, one of the greatest recent vintages for white Burgundies: taut, precise, with excellent aging potential. Nose of citrus, white fruits, toasted hazelnut, and mineral notes. Ample and well-structured palate, with bright acidity, a long and saline finish. Provenance: acquired from a cellar purchase in 2020, kept since then in an underground cellar at 15 °C.
