Wine Presentation Originally, there was the Lord of Montrachet and his two son, became a knight during the Crusades, the other bastard. Thus were born two Grands Crus exceptional, devoted to chardonnay and white wines. This is the first which holds our attention, Chevalier-Montrachet. This climate has the distinction of being made up of four terraces with different basements but all dominated by limestone and very stony. Bouchard house is the only one with plots on the four facets of this Grand Cru, for a total of 2.33 hectares. As with all its Grands Crus, the area provides constant care and daily the vines and soil, before manual harvest and a drastic sorting. After careful vinification, breeding takes place in oak barrels with a maximum of 20% new wood, so as not to mark the vintage. Thus develops a great wine, highly rated by critics and made for very long guard. It is the same elegance as complex but understandable and not heavy, but is also rich, soft and dense.
