VINEYARD La Cabotte refers to a small dry stone shelter at the edge of the vineyards that was once used by winegrowers as a place to eat or shelter from the rain. This 21-acre vineyard is the most prestigious in Chevalier-Montrachet and is located in the extension of the Montrachet appellation. VINIFICATION AND AGING Hand-harvested in small crates. Aged for 10 to 12 months in oak barrels (up to 15% new barrels). AGEING POTENTIAL: Very good aging potential.
