Second, the Humbert family has built a reputation for producing wines with character through more intense extraction than usual. This Charmes-Chambertin thus reveals, upon tasting, a deep ruby color with hints of purple. The bouquet subtly blends finesse and complexity. One finds notes of red fruits (redcurrant, raspberry, morello cherry) alongside those of black fruits (blueberry, blackcurrant), sweet spices, and musk.
