A rare bottle of Cognac from pré-phylloxéra vines. "Réserve" 1865 bottled at the Château de Cognac after the year 1909 date of the law on the Cognac appellation. This Grande Champagne Cognac has aged at least 40 years in the oak barrels of the cellar of the Chateau de Cognac. The Otard-Dupuy & Co brand was untill 1948, now it's brand name's Baron Otard & d'Ussé The Château de Cognac saw the birth of the King of France François 1st it is located on the banks of the Charente River. These cellars are an ideal place for the aging of Cognacs
