Seller description
Bottle bought by my father in the 90s. Kept in a typical Champagne cellar (cellar buried in chalk). Good conservation, almost perfect level for a 1988 vintage. A true rarity that is difficult to find today, the Chambertin Clos de Beze Bernardette Peirazeau Groffier. The Pinot Noir which makes it entirely has benefited from cultivation on limestone and marl soils. The vintage that you see before your eyes has been designed for very long aging, which is likely to be around 30 years. The year 1988 produced very good red Burgundy wines with good aging potential. This bottle, due to its conservation and its origin, is still in optimal tasting conditions.
