Like the entire Médoc, Saint-Julien benefited from almost ideal climatic conditions in 2016. At Léoville Las Cases, they were exploited to the best of their ability to produce a Saint-Julien close to perfection. Announced by an imperial purple color, the great wine displays a bouquet of great finesse and very beautiful complexity. The aromas of black fruits of the first nose are added to the aeration of notes of licorice and spices. The palate reveals a powerful structure, with a beautiful complicity between the tannins and the flesh. A very nice bottle for keeping.
