Seller description
A Brut champagne seductive with richness and aromatic expression The property In 2006, Armand de Brignac unveiled its first vintage, Brut Gold, a unique and prestigious vintage representing the excellence of Champagne. The vineyard Armand de Brignac vintages are made from HVE 3 certified vineyards located in prestigious Champagne crus located in the Montagne de Reims (Rilly-la-Montagne, Chigny-les-Roses, Ludes). Wine The first Armand de Brignac vintage released on the market in 2006, Brut Gold was voted Best Champagne in the world by Fine Champagne magazine. Respecting the ancient tradition of blending in Champagne, this iconic vintage brings together three vintages made from prestigious terroirs. This specificity gives it a lively and fruity aromatic structure combining harmoniously with a supple texture. This modern-day luxury champagne is housed in an opaque bottle covered with a layer of metal with golden highlights. This bottle is adorned with a French pewter label, meticulously applied by hand, highlighting the “Ace of Spades”, the brand’s emblematic icon. The dosage of this champagne is 9 grams per liter. Winemaking and aging Manual harvest. Only the Cuvée is kept for the production of this champagne in order to develop a soft texture as well as balanced acidity. During disgorging, the addition of a draft liqueur comprising the most refined wine base of the harvest, aged for 1 year in French oak barrels, gives a tasty complexity exuding pastry, toasted and vanilla notes. Assembly Pinot noir (40%) Chardonnay (40%) Pinot Meunier (20%) Characteristics and tasting tips for Brut Gold from Armand de Brignac Tasting Nose The nose exudes aromas of apricots and peaches, accentuated by touches of citrus, orange blossom and brioche. Mouth Rich and creamy, the palate seduces with its intense fruity expression (exotic fruits, cherry) complemented by subtle aromas of lemon, vanilla and honey. Food and wine pairings With its creamy texture and aromas of exotic fruits, this Brut champagne goes wonderfully with a wide range of dishes, such as pan-fried scallops, roast quail or freshwater fish. Guard Available today, Armand de Brignac’s Brut Gold can wait in the cellar until around 2025.
