Great Outback Rare Old Single Malt 700mL (Australian Whisky) - Mystery Australian single malt from the 1990s was distilled at Sullivans Cover Distillery, in the 1990s. As Jim Murray sai "I could stick my nose in this all day. This is sensational; more of a question of what we don`t have here! The malt is clean, beautifully defined & dovetails with refined, orangey-citrus notes. The oak is near perfection adding only a degree of tempered weight. I don’t detect peat, but there is some compensating Blue Mountains coffee. Just so beautifully textured with countless waves of clean, rich malt neither too sweet nor too dry. This is faultless distillate, lightens considerably with the oak vanilla dominating. What can you say?
