A ghostly spirit, this dram primarily comes from the ‘ghost’ distillery of Pittyvaich. Closed down in 1993 after an 18 year run, it is known as one of the shortest-lived distilleries in Scotland. But in that time, it was able to distill a variety of incredible whiskies, known and loved by connoisseurs around the world. Whisky from that distillery is at the heart of this limited edition blend, along with another seven rare whiskies. Arriving in a sensational bottle and packaging, this is bottled at 43.8% abv and is (quite literally) full of spirit. On the nose lies notes of butterscotch, apples, pears, and cinnamon. Tantalise your tastebuds with hints of orchard fruits, dark fruit, and sweet berries. The finish is beautifully balanced, with supple notes of honeycomb, soft wood, and a gentle sweetness.
