Seller description

Here is the precious Zacapa XO decanter, nicknamed 'Cognac des rums', and moreover, a jewel of this brand. Its development from sugar cane juice underlines the singularity of a profile that oscillates harmoniously between sweetness, spices and fruit. The greediness of the dark chocolate notes is adorned with intense aromas of cherry, as well as aromas of dried fruits and warmly present spices. We particularly appreciate this jewel-decanter which evokes the work of a craftsman-jeweler ... This generous 'drop' topped by its elegantly gilded corking already reveals the fullness of this refined spirit. The setting of this rum is up to its scents, sweet and resolutely fruity. Color The dress of the Zacapa XO is a dark mahogany shade. Precious red reflections tease the eye. Nose On the nose, power, richness and refinement could define this XO: aromas of hot cocoa deliciously accompanied by the presence of fully ripe fruits. Warm and comforting scents punctuated by a slightly bitter touch. Mouth The tasting fully reveals the character of this Ron. Smoothness and fullness describe it wonderfully: the spices swirl around and blend skillfully with the chocolate. The flavors of almond mingle with those of vanilla in a very appreciable length.
