Seller description
Château d’Armailhac is what used to be called Mouton-Baron-Philippe and before that Mouton-d'Armailhacq, although you’re unlikely to find much of that around anymore. Whatever it’s called, it is now firmly a part of the Rotschild portfolio, and is therefore made with great care and attention to detail. It tends to be lighter and more feminine than its more famous stablemates, largely due to the high proportion of Merlot and Cabernet Franc in the blend. Generally it’s underrated and very good value. 1990 Château d'Armailhac (Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot)
