Seller description
The 4th grand cru in the 1855 classification, Château Beychevelle would undoubtedly deserve another title if the classification were to be redone. With no less than 70ha in the famous Médoc appellation, Saint-Julien, it has become a must. The blend is made up of 47% Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot and the rest of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. A very rigorous selection is carried out in the vines and in the cellar to keep only the best fruits. The wine is fine and balanced, rich in tannins and the aromas of fruit and spices are of a charming finesse. With good structure, these wines are suitable for long aging. Many amateurs, French and foreign, are looking for old vintages, which are particularly successful. As for recent years, they have been acclaimed by a worldwide clientele, particularly Asian. It will go wonderfully with red meats but not only ... don't hesitate to let your imagination run wild.
