Son nez, classique, très aromatique, est caractéristique des Saint Emilion. Sa structure est harmonieuse entre une acidité franche, des tanins soyeux, un alcool généreux et une belle rondeur. Les arômes fruités et le chocolat lui donnent beaucoup de longueur en bouche. Il est tout simplement « étincellent ».
