H.P. Barradas, Madeira Private Reserve 1800 Re-bottled in 1996. Bordeaux shaped bottles. Wax capsule. Stained label. Tasting note: Deep concentrated nose of dried peaches, honey, fudge, vanilla ice tone. Quite attractive. Some Indian spices on the back. After some time more developed showing secondary aromas of honey cake and vintage furniture. Intense acidity, medium sweet, soft, with lingering grapefruit bitters and sweet fruit. Finishing with nice concentrated acidity. Very nice wine. Last tasted August 2015. EV.
