Produced by Casemiro de Castro Neves, father of Miguel Souza Guedes for the purpose of commemorating his birth (1890). Miguel de Souza Guedes became an important Port wine producer in the 1910s, owning some of the most important farms in the douro, namely Quinta das Carvalhas and Seixo in Pinhao, among others.
