Seller description
Parker 100) 100 The 1989 The Pavilion is a prodigious wine. Made with yields of 14 hectoliters per hectare, this parcel of old vines (aged 70 to 80 years on average) yielded an opaque black / purple wine, with a breathtaking bouquet of violet, blackcurrant, mineral and new oak. In the mouth, the similarity of texture, richness and perfect balance with the captivating Mouton-Rothschild of 1986 is striking, only this wine is richer and longer. This extraordinarily well-balanced wine will probably not be ready to drink for at least 5 to 10 years, but will evolve for three decades or more.
