Seller description
Wine of prestige of 97 years !! Exceptional condition Created around 1680, the Château Latour vineyard is one of the oldest in the Medoc. At the heart of the estate, the main plot, called "l'Enclos", is made up of 47 hectares of old vines which are carefully maintained, as they are the only ones capable of giving birth to the "Grand Vin". The 18 hectares of outdoor plots, vineyards less than 10 years old and the cuvées that have been decommissioned produce the second wine of the estate, "Les Forts de Latour". The Latour wine is an example of regularity whatever the quality of the vintage. Farm, tannic and concentrated in its youth, it requires a long aging to reveal all its depth, power and extraordinary richness. A perfect maturity, the wine is distinguished by an incredible bouquet of blackcurrant, hazelnut and leather. A monumental wine.
