The vineyards of the Coteau Vernon is grown on 2 hectares facing South-East, with a density of 8000/10000 vine stock per hectare. The soil is volcanic with a fragile decomposed granite soil called "gorre". The vines are aged 50 to 80 years on average.
The grape harvest is done by hand and no treatment is given to the vine (no herbicides, no insecticides). The wine is made in oak barrels (25% new) on fine lees for 12 to 18 months by stirring. The hill of Vernon has the particularity of offereing a pale robe with and an elegant mouth and nose.
Grape variety : 100% Viognier.
Aging : Between 2 and 15 years.
Annual production : 7 000 bottles.
