Today, Château Beaucastel is in the hands of Jean-Pierre and François, the sons of Jacques Perrin pursuing his story. Thus, Beaucastel is above all, a family affair, the Perrin Family, whose strength is the way one another's talents harmonise to support their vineyards under the aegis of common values: absolute respect for the land, biodynamics as a philosophy of life, the search for truth, for equilibrium and for elegance. Indeed, located between the Rhone and Avignon, the 130 hectares of the estate give fruit to 13 varieties of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, which are then raised in temperature-regulated traditional vats. This procedure produces a product with a complex, seductive nose, with a tinge of red fruit and a full and mellow mouth.
Grape variety : 30% Mourvèdre, Grenache 30%, Syrah 10%, Counoise 10%, 5% Cinsault and 15% miscellaneous.
Annual production : 7 000 000 bottles.
