For the past three generations, the Domaine Georges Roumier has passionately worked and cherished its prestigious appellations. Located in the North of Chambolle, it neighbours the Clos de Tart in Morey Saint Denis. By assembling two exceptional terroirs, "Les Terres Rouges" and "Les Terres Blanches", Grand Cru Bonnes-Mares benefits from the best of both worlds, allowing them to obtain a more complex wine. The harmonisation of the two terroirs reveal a combination as creamy as rigid, and fruity with mineral notes. The harvest is done by hand on vines aged about 40 years. The wines are then stored 16 months in oak barrels - 30% new and the rest between 2 and 8 years.
Grape variety : Pinot noir.
Ageing : 5 to 20 years.
Annual production : 5083 bottles, 160 magnums, jeroboams 5.
