The Château La Louvière is located East of Leognan, between Carbonnieux and Haut-Bailly. The vineyard covers 61 hectares and offers a variety of soils, limestone, silica and deep gravel.
The Château La Louvière has a dark robe as well as an elegant nose. We find in it subtle timbered notes. The grape harvest is carried out by hand. The fermentation is done in temperature-regulated stainless steel tanks and concrete tanks. The stock is operated for 12 months in oak barrels, 50 to 75% new according to vintages.
Grape variety : Cabernet Sauvignon 55% - Merlot 40% - Cabernet Franc 2% - 3% Petit Verdot.
Aging: Differs depending on the vintage. He begins to unfold between 3 and 5 years. Note that it can age between 15 and 30 years.
Annual production : Approximately 160 000 bottles are produced every year.
